Saei Tajhiz Sepahan compnay offers a wide range of top-quality flanges which are forged and suitable for using in refinery, oil, gas and steel industries. There are a number of standards that can be selected from. The selection will most likely be based upon the application and standards of the other components that this flange will be connected to.
The most common materials used in producing flange is: ASTM A105(CARBON STEEL), ASTM A182(Alloy steel), ASTM A266(CARBON STEEL, STAINLESS STEEL ASTM A182 F 304/F 304L, ASTM A182 F 316/F 316L, ST37, ST42 and etc.
Type of flanges that saei tajhiz offers :
SAE Flanges are designed to provide an alternative method of connecting a pipe, hose, tube or equipment. The leak free connection is suitable for high pressures, larger sizes and assembly in tight quarters. It has achieved worldwide standard acceptance.
It is made from normalized forging and the basic raw material is steelwith carbon content lower than 0.30%. Alternatively, stainless steel SS316 or galvanized flange material is available. The complete set flange combine of flat face, oring face, oring groove, 4 washers and cap screws.
How are SAE flanges attached to pipe?
Hydraulic SAE flange provides a zero-clearance assembly that enables easy connection, disconnect and maintenance of tube to hose, tube to tube or manifold connection. Infinite positioning is a built-in feature to enable flange to put in different position angle. There are several types of connection: "threaded end" (NPT or BSPP) and "welding end" (socket weld or butt weld).
The connection of welding and threaded is able to maximize reliability. However, it is inevitable that connections must be removed to allow replacing or servicing on system components. To improve flanges productivity, flanges have advanced considerably before installation to improve performance, installation convenience but still remain overall function effectiveness and efficiency.
What is the purpose of a SAE flange?
A simple SAE flange installation design provides several advantages:
According to this standard, STEEL and STAINLESS-STEEL flanges are devided into classes 150-300-400-600-900-1500-2500 which are the maximum pressure numbers in terms of PSI that the flanges can withstand at the maximum allowable temperature and usually the operating pressure is about 2.4 times. ANSI STEEL and STAINLESS flanges have several different versions of raised and none raised faces.
Flanges are made in accordance with:
Materials for flanges are usually under ASME designation: ASTM A-105, ASTM A-266 or ASTM-182.
This standard shows the bearing pressure of STEEL and STAINLESS STEEL flanges with PN,which indicates the nominal pressure in BAR.The desired standard for flanges is based on PN according to DIN which includes flanges with 10 bar, 16bar, 20bar, etc.
Flanges are made in accordance with:
Material for flanges are usually under DIN designation : ST37, ST42
DIN steel and stainless flanges have several different versions of raised and nonr raised faces.
Japan Industrial Standard is yet another option for metric sizes. Provided in JIS5K, JIS10K, JIS15K and JISK20K pressure classes, we can offer slip on, blind and weld neck varieties in raised face or flat face configuration.
Flanges are made in accordance with:
Materials for flanges are typically 316/l or A105.
